A growing healthcare facility in Elk River, MN is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team full-time!Check out the details below:
Title: Medical Assistant
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Location: Elk River, MN
Schedule: Multiple shifts available
Pay: $19.07-$27.44, based on experience. 2K sign on bonus!
The Medical Assistant duties to include, but not be limited to:
-Front desk/check-in support, and assist with prior authorizations
-Perform x-ray duties as assigned if individual has passed the x-ray operator exam
-Perform clinic laboratory tests
-Facilitate communication between customers and providers
REQUIREMENTS:
-High school graduate or equivalent (e.g., GED) required
-Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required
-Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
-Passed x-ray operator's examination or willing to take exam according to individual clinic needs
-Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross-accredited BLS certification (Blaze Health standard)
