Assistant Facility Security Officer

We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team - Assistant Facility Security Officer! This position is responsible for security clearance tracking, reporting, and other administrative duties.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

• Assists in maintaining security standards, policies, and procedures
• Possesses experience using both the new NBIS system as well as current firm DISS user interface
• Possesses experience experience/knowledge with NISPOM
• Creates badges, terminate access; is primary POC for building security access
• Maintains employee clearance information into internal database
• Confirms candidate clearances as part of the recruiting process
• Processes a high volume of Visit Access Requests
• Assists in internal and external security audits to determine security vulnerabilities
• Assists in briefing incoming staff on security processes and debriefs outgoing staff
• Assists in processing clearances/special accesses and debriefing/terminations of clearances
• Tracks training acknowledgements
• Provides back up coverage for all major security functions
• Performs all other duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must possess a HS Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Business or a relevant discipline is preferred and at least 2 years of relevant experience. An active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.

Additional qualifications include:

• CDSE Non-Possessing Facilities certification required within 6 months of hire
• Experience with NISPOM preferred
• Experience with NBIS and DISS is a plus
