Tool Maker

Job Summary: Seeking a Tool Maker with experience in machine component fabrication and assembly, capable of conceptualizing assembly lines/methods and implementing solutions.

Job Requirements:

• 15-year minimum machine component fabrication utilizing mill, lathe, grinding wheel, CNC equipment

• Machine design experience (8 years minimum)

• Proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics, AD/DC relays and motors

• One year assembly experience or 6 months of assembly as a P1

Preferred Skills:

• CNC Operator or Machinist

• Experience with tight tolerances

• Trade school graduate with 1-2 years' experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize assembly lines/methods

• Evaluate mechanical problems and make recommendations towards solutions

• Fabricate and implement those solutions

• Disassemble, align and reassemble automated equipment

• Communicate technical information to other disciplines and upper management

• Make recommendations towards product designs for manufacturability

• Evaluate assembly processes, make recommendations towards and implement improvements.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
