About this job

Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and curriculum for Early Childhood classrooms (ages infant to 6 years)
- Support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance to ensure a positive learning    atmosphere.
- Provide individualized attention and support to children to enhance their learning experience.
- Help with the preparation of materials, activities, and resources for daily activities.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and development.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and progress.
- Support the lead teacher in communicating with parents or guardians regarding student performance.

 

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to assist in lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Proficiency in concepts relevant to early childhood education.
- A passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.

-Must have a positive attitude with professional appearance and demeanor.

-Must be a team player and helpful in all classrooms.

 

This position requires candidate to commit to a yearly teaching contract obligation for this position.

Required qualifications:

  • Dress code requirements: No visible facial piercings
  • Dress code requirements: Natural hair color
  • Dress code requirements: Fingernails are trimmed and maintained
  • 6+ months of experience in the education industry
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 18 years or older
  • At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Background check
  • Available to work: weekdays

  • Own a personal vehicle
