Pediatric Hematology/Oncology - AdventHealth for Children Orlando, Florida

Overview

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for a dynamic pediatric hematologist/oncologist to join our team of four physicians and five advanced practice providers in pediatric hematology and oncology based at The Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando, Florida.

The position is a full-time clinical position caring for the entire spectrum of pediatric patients with both hematologic and oncologic disorders in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.  Ideal candidate will have clinical experience post-fellowship (preferred but not required) and expertise or interest in pediatric Hematology and Hemoglobinopathies.  

Our hospital is part of the Childrens Oncology Group (COG) and actively participates in over 45 open COG clinical trials.

Requirements of the position:

    Fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
    Board certification / eligibility in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology through the American Board of Pediatrics
    Team player with patient-first mindset
    Excellent communication skills
    Eligibility for active Florida license
