Position Summary:
The Retail Asset Protection Support Specialist will be responsible for analyzing transaction data to identify fraudulent activity and provide support to the Retail Asset Protection field teams. The Retail Asset Protection Support Specialist will act as a liaison between the company and external entities including but not limited to law enforcement.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate quality internal cases by utilizing company reports and provide investigative support that will lead to successful case closures.
- Review surveillance video to confirm or deny suspected fraudulent activity as directed by the Sr. Retail AP Support Specialist, the Manager of Retail AP Support or the Sr. Manager, Retail Asset Protection.
- Report suspicious activity trends and develop queries to prevent further financial loss to the organization.
4. Review and secure surveillance video for internal and external business partners.
5. Review other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Sr. Retail AP Support Specialist or Manager of Retail AP Support.
Working Relationships:
Internal: DVPs, Regional Managers, District Managers, Store Managers, Inventory Team Members, I.T. Cash Management, Training, Store Accounting, HR, Marketing, Risk, Corporate Facilities and Planning Departments.
External: Local, State, and Federal Police agencies, Department of Homeland Security, Armored Car vendors, Security system vendors, and Banks
Requirements
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Experience: 1-3 year of retail experience and or loss prevention.

- Must possess analytical abilities, act strategically and plan and manage execution of initiatives

- Strong organizational skills to include effective time management in all key responsibilities of the job

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must be able to work independently and in a team atmosphere
Travel: Occasional overnight travel by both car and air.
Hours & Conditions: 40-50 hour work week remote. Occasional Office Work is required
Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
