We are seeking an IT Security Specialist to join our team! You will implement security measures for the protection of computer networks and information for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor daily security alerts
- Report and respond to any security breaches or viruses
- Triage and categorize network intrusions and incidents
- Perform periodic risk reviews and audits
- Provide strategies for improving system security
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in network security or other related fields
- Knowledge of network security technologies and devices
- Strong attention to detail and skills to spot issues as quickly as possible
- Extensive knowledge of computer science and information systems
- Strong written communication skills to compile reports
- Demonstrated oral communication skills to explain complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way and to collaborate with coworkers
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to respond appropriately to immediate or potential threats
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines
