Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to operate CNC Lathe’s. As a CNC Operator you will perform all tasks related to machining including operation, quality, measuring, and inspection. All levels of machinist are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities

As a CNC Operator you will operate technologically advanced equipment and state of the art machinery.

Additional responsibilities:

• Read and follow work instructions – ability to support production standards
• Support quality and management in keeping reject rates low
• Practice 5S and abide by all safety guidelines
• Dimensional adjustments, feed rates, and speeds of machining cuts – may be required
• Inspects and measures parts to maintain statistical process control
• May set up tools before positioning them in lathe, using precision gauges and instruments.
• May set up and operate other machines and operations to support customer orders
• Work overtime as needed to support production demands

Requirements

As a CNC Operator, you must be able to read and understand work Instructions and operate machinery in a safe manner.

Additional requirements include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required - Technical or vocational school - beneficial
• 1 or more years of experience with hand measurement tools (mics, calipers and functional gages)
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic shop math.
• Good communication, written, and mechanical skills
• Ability to work and cooperate with others
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
