RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Sell parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
  2. Answer phone calls providing quotes and other information.
  3. Pull and fill orders from stock.
  4. Source parts from outside vendors as needed for emergency and unit down situations.
  5. Follow up on backorders parts daily.
  6. Check open tickets daily.
  7. Call Customers to notify parts are in.
  8. Set parts for delivery with dispatch daily-follow up.
  9. Notify Parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  10. Follow up on backorders daily.
  11. Assist in putting away stock daily as needed.
  12. Stock lobby daily as needed.
  13. Daily cycle counts as assigned by manager.
  14. Perform other duties as required and assigned.

COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent Customer Service mindset, skills, and experience.
  • Technical proficiencies with MS Office, with strong Excel knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to develop understanding of McCandless products to resolve more complex inquiries.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED needed.
  • Proven ability to be self-directed and motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to interact with employees and customers at all levels.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of industry related experience heavy duty and or automotive

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Continuous standing and walking
  • Continuous keyboard use/repetitive hand motion
  • Lifting up 40lb unassisted

Schedule:

Friday through Monday

7:00 am to 5:00 pm

Four Ten Hour Days
