Patient Coordinator-Schwendeman Orthodontics

Schwendeman Orthodontics is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to the add to the team. As a patient care coordinator, you will be the first to welcome patients to our office and help them navigate through their smile journey with us. Great customer service is of utmost importance, and your role is crucial to ensuring a positive patient experience. We believe in investing in our people and are committed to helping you grow. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phone
• Answer calls, and schedule new and existing patients for Orthodontic treatment
• Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health history.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
• Collect patient payments and post them to their patient ledger
• Update necessary documents into patient chart
• Outbound calls to patients for confirming upcoming appointments
• Additional duties as needed such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling supplies in restrooms, and any other necessary tasks in our office
