ICMS is looking for a dynamic Business Development Management Specialist to support our Business Development Team. The ICMS Business Development Team provides vital support in helping the company and its business units achieve their growth goals. This position requires proactive research & analysis aligned with the existing business portfolio and ICMS’s strategic goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining opportunity pipelines, capturing business intelligence, fostering industry partnerships, and supporting proposal development.


LOCATION: Gaithersburg, MD (Hybrid). This is a full-time position for our Gaithersburg, MD office. Weekly meetings in the office are required. Candidate must be local within DMV area.

Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and track existing opportunities aligned with ICMS capabilities.
  • Conduct outreach and contact with prospective decision makers, contracting officers, partners, and potential subcontractors.
  • Research and analyze existing & target markets and opportunities utilizing SAM.GOV, GovWin, BGOV, USA Spending, etc.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements to align with organizational objectives.
  • Manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities and develop analysis of new opportunities.
  • Maintain and update the opportunity pipeline, collaborating directly with the ICMS leadership team.
  • Provide briefings to ICMS and team members on opportunities including historical information, schedule, financial data and personnel.
  • Work with Executives to identify opportunities to expand presence at target agencies.
  • Work to develop relationships with industry partners to develop teaming strategies.
  • Assist in the development and execution of call plans to maximize the winning probability of business opportunities.
  • Assist the organization in identifying, negotiating and securing key personnel.
  • Support the capture process and assist proposal team across simultaneous opportunities.
  • Actively contribute to the support and development of proposals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years’ work experience in performing similar functions is required.
  • Experience with US Federal Business Development is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus problem-solving skills.
  • Team Player capable of working within a collaborative environment.
  • Self-starter who exhibits attention to detail and expert organization skills.
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Fully capable of using MS 365 Office Suite Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • GovWin Experience is a PLUS.
  • Experience with facilities services, O&M, construction, and renovation contracts is highly desired.
