Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and driving comprehensive Digital Engineering/MBSE-centric Systems Engineering Processes and Methodologies throughout the systems development lifecycle. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearheaded the development, documentation, and implementation of Digital Engineering/MBSE-centric Systems Engineering Processes and Methodologies under the guidance of Program Leaders.
  • Synthesize and document digital modeling, simulation, and analysis methodologies, ensuring consistency and robustness across projects.
  • Lead Enterprise-wide Data and Knowledge Governance strategy implementation to maximize process efficiency and user benefits.
  • Identify, create, integrate, and document end-to-end systems engineering and MS&A Process Workflows, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Balance traditional document-based Systems Engineering processes with digitization and virtualization techniques to achieve Digital Engineering Transformation.
  • Focus on implementing digital-centric tools and techniques for enhanced real-time schedule management and risk mitigation.
  • Provide guidance, tutorials, and mentorship to Systems Engineers and support Customer Training requirements.
  • Hands-on oversight of program-wide Systems Engineers to ensure contract deliverables are met.

Required Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in space or ground systems engineering and system-of-systems development and integration.
  • Proficiency in SysML modeling and simulation tools such as CATIA Cameo.
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering processes and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • 12+ years of experience in Systems Engineering.
  • Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DODAF) standards.
  • Experience with Agile Team framework.
  • Object Management Group SysML Model Builder Fundamental Certification.
