Our client is a leading full-service outpatient diagnostic imaging center with three convenient locations in Polk County, Florida. They are dedicated to providing high-quality radiological services to their patients and physicians. As they continue to expand their team, they are seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained Radiologist with expertise in Musculoskeletal, General Cross-Sectional Imaging, Neuroradiology, and Minor Biopsy and Aspiration Procedures to join them in delivering exceptional patient care.


Position Overview: Our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated Radiologist with specialized expertise in Musculoskeletal, General Cross-Sectional Imaging, Neuroradiology, and Minor Biopsy and Aspiration Procedures to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in their commitment to providing accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services in these specific areas, contributing to the well-being of the community.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Musculoskeletal Imaging: Perform and interpret musculoskeletal imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasound examinations. Provide expert diagnosis and consultation for orthopedic and sports medicine cases.

  • General Cross-Sectional Imaging: Conduct and interpret a wide range of cross-sectional imaging studies, including CT and MRI scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning for various medical conditions.

  • Neuroradiology: Specialize in neuroradiology by performing and interpreting imaging studies of the brain and spine. Provide expert insights into neurological conditions and collaborate with neurologists and neurosurgeons.

  • Minor Biopsy and Aspiration Procedures: Conduct minor biopsy and aspiration procedures under imaging guidance when necessary. Ensure patient safety and accurate sample collection.

  • Patient Care: Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and address concerns, ensuring a comfortable and informed experience.

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of image quality and accuracy, adhering to best practices and safety protocols in accordance with industry standards.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare professionals to provide expert consultation and guidance on diagnosis and treatment plans in the specified areas of expertise.

  • Continuing Education: Stay current with the latest advancements in radiology and the specialized areas through ongoing education, training, and participation in relevant conferences and workshops.

  • Teamwork: Work closely with our skilled team of technologists and support staff to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our imaging center.

  • Documentation: Accurately and promptly document findings, interpretations, and recommendations in patient records and reports.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and quality assurance of imaging equipment in the specified areas to ensure optimal performance.
