Job Description

Parker Aerospace is looking for a Production Support Coordinator!

The hours are 9-5pm

With limited guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing a variety of product support duties of a complete nature following and developing procedures and processes in two or more of the following functions: consumable stock, parts identification, receiving, stockroom, stock handling, put aways, PO req creation, inventory stock transactions, etc.

Consumable stock

Responsible for the "Component Store". This position will have full responsibility to help build and maintain the store. Activities within the store will include but not limited to: Box and unbox of material and put away to the shelves, coordinate the storage, handling, receiving, and inventory procedures, maintain minimum/maximum consumable stock requirements, move consumables to their proper location, issue PO requisition for consumables, perform MSS transactions for scrap and withdrawal cards.

Parts Identification

Identify parts using proper identification methods, report critical shortages of consumables to the business, maintain accuracy inventory count for consumables.

Receiving

Verify that parts have been received in MSS before receiver gets the parts, perform data input to update system records and verify all documents for completeness and accuracy. If required, will trouble shoot, diagnose problems, and coordinate between departments and monitor outside vendor commitments.

Stockroom

Create stock locations for consumables, check and identify parts by type or part number, prepare parts for storage and place stock in proper location as directed, select parts from stock to fill orders according to tugger totes going into the consumable room, maintain, update and access necessary records utilizing a computer/excel.

Put Aways

As boxes are dropped off into the consumable store the boxes will need to be unboxed and replenished on the shelves. Sometimes this requires locations that are outside of the stockroom.

PO Req Creation

There will be a need for PO reqs to be created in the consumable store. Need to review with the requester exactly what they are needing and then putting up the PO req that will go to the buyer to complete.

Inventory Stock Transactions

You will perform multiple inventory transactions as it relates to scrap transactions and withdrawal transactions in our system. These will need to be performed daily/weekly.v

Qualifications

  • Three years related product support experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures and systems in several functional areas and ability to effectively troubleshoot problem situations.
  • May be required to lift 50 lbs and meet OSHA safety qualifications.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer/excel functions.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Proficient in readying, understanding, and interpreting related forms and specifications.
  • Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
