Contract Manager (L 7)

Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group, in collaboration with a Fortune 500 consulting firm, is searching for a skilled Associate Contract Manager. The Contract Manager will manage a variety of US Federal contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements, and will advise Project Teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. Responsibilities:

• Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
• Identifies contractual risks and issues; suggests alternatives that lead to the best solutions
• Reviews and manages contractual obligations and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met
• Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc

Qualifications/Background Profile

• 4 Year College degree required; advanced degree in business, contract management, law or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years in contract management or legal field and applicable industry experience
• Membership and/or Certification in the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) or and professional certification are a plus
