Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group, in collaboration with a government contract company, is searching for a driven Proposal Manager. The Manager will be responsible for participating in proposal development, reviewing and analyzing Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, and assessing strategies for responding to requirements. The Proposal Manager will also be responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant proposals in support of the company’s strategic growth objectives. Responsibilities:
  • Interpret technical and management requirements of Federal Government solicitations (e.g., RFPs, RTEPs, RFIs)
  • Define a schedule for receiving all required inputs from internal and external resources
  • Work with partners to obtain necessary information and pricing in support of professional services for the project
  • Write past performance references, corporate overviews, and other non-technical sections of a proposal
  • Coordinate proposal status tracking

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field
  • 3+ years of experience required
  • Experience with previous proposal development or proposal data coordination work
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Database usage, etc.
  • Ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with internal teams and partners, both internally and externally
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to communicate with teams or present recommendations to increase the efficiency of the processes
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex reports, needs, and documentation, excellent time management skills
  • Results-oriented, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
