CPA firm seeking a Tax Director / Partner for its M&A Practice. Responsibilities Provide tax and structuring advice related to complex M&A transactions. Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for domestic and cross-border transactions. Manage and coordinate tax due diligence and structuring projects. Advise clients on the tax implications of their business objectives, evaluate and select alternative actions to lessen tax burden and cost of compliance. Collaborate with a team of professionals to provide comprehensive tax solutions that align with client business objectives. Keep up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law to ensure compliance and advisory services are provided with the most recent regulations. Supervise, mentor and develop staff, including providing timely and constructive feedback. Qualifications CPA, JD, or LLM in Taxation is required. Strong Compliance skills A minimum of 10 years of experience in M&A Tax, preferably within a public accounting firm or equivalent. Strong technical knowledge of M&A tax including experience with due diligence, tax structuring, and post-deal integration. Excellent project management and presentation skills. Proficiency with tax advisory and compliance software. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
