*Join Our Team*

As a Per Diem Medical Provider in a substance abuse center, your primary function will be to provide comprehensive medical care and support to individuals seeking treatment for substance abuse disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping patients overcome their addiction and achieve long-term recovery.

*Requirements*
* Graduation from an Advanced Practice Master of Science in Nursing program or completion of a formal Advanced Practice education program
* Experience specifically treating clients or patients with substance abuse and/or mental health disorders
* Licensure required is one of the following: PMHNP, FNP, PA, MD, APRN - DEA License is necessary as well

*Responsibilities*
* Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the physical and mental health of patients entering the substance abuse center. Identify co-occurring medical conditions or complications related to substance abuse.
* Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Determine the appropriate medical interventions and medications to support detoxification and manage withdrawal symptoms.
* Medication Management: Administer medications for detoxification, manage medication-assisted treatment (MAT) regimens, and monitor patients for medication effectiveness and potential side effects. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards for controlled substances.
* Health Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' physical health, including vital signs, blood work, and overall wellness, throughout their treatment journey. Address any emerging medical issues promptly and coordinate referrals to specialized healthcare providers when needed.
* Coordinated Care: Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients. Participate in team meetings, treatment planning sessions, and case conferences to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care delivery.
* Patient Education: Educate patients about the medical aspects of addiction, withdrawal symptoms, and the effects of substance abuse on overall health. Offer guidance on healthy lifestyle choices, relapse prevention strategies, and harm reduction techniques.
* Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and medication administration. Adhere to legal and ethical standards regarding patient confidentiality and consent.

*Pay: *$60- $72 per hour

New Hire Bonus: $2500 paid $1250 at 6 and 12 months

*Schedule: *As needed during weekdays & weekends. Must be willing to work one weekend per month. Occasional holiday
