Senior Systems Administrator
Location: 100% Remote
Clearance: Active Secret

Position Overview:
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Senior System Administrator with a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience for a potential opportunity with our government customer.


Requirements:
  • Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections.
  • This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.
  • Analyzes and resolves end-user software program and connectivity issues.
  • Provides end-user training.
  • Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
  • Will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location.
  • Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installations of servers and applications.
  • Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load-balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance.
  • Performs vulnerability management.
  • Sensitivity Level: IT-I - Critical Sensitive
  • Clearance: Secret
Certifications:
  • IAT III: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
  • Computing Environment: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Windows Server 2016 (MCSE WS 2016) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (MC Azure SAE)
  • DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: CE Admin (AWS CSA Pro/CS Specialty/CSO Admin Associate), GCWN, MCA: DS, MCA: ES, MCA: SQL Server, MC: Azure SAE, MCM: SQL Server 2008/2008R2, MCSE: WS2012/2016, MCSM: Exchange/DP
Experience:
Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing including:
  • Six (6) years in numerous specialized Information and processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions.
  • Four (4) in concentrated, hands-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
