BUYER ASSOCIATE IN AUSTIN, TX Volt is immediately hiring a Buyer Associate in Austin, TX. As a Buyer Associate, you will be: Responsible for placing purchase orders, expediting, and providing customer service functions. Responsible for compilating and maintenance of information and records to prepare Purchase Orders. Responsible for contacting vendors and suppliers for quotations and maintain relationships. Responsible for reconciliating payable discrepancies and customer problems. Responsible for managing freight billing and audit processes. Responsible for researching specifications of products not clearly identified. Responsible for entering and editing purchase orders and blanket order releases. Responsible for ensuring product file integrity. This is a Full-time, contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Strong customer service skills. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, and above average math skills. Bachelor’s degree (Business, Computer Science, Communications preferred but not necessary).
