Title: Engineering Technician II Location: Reedsville, PA Duration: 10 Months with possible extension Description: Your Responsibilities In this role as an Engineering Technician, you will focus primarily on supporting releasing new products into manufacturing. In addition, you will play a key role in developing new manufacturing processes and implementing process controls. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Create and update technical documents and manage engineering change notices in Windchill and eMatrix. • Support the qualification and implementation of process and design changes. • Work collaboratively with different functions to support the release of new products. • Develop and write assembly instructions for new products. We are looking for Experience/Education: • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, plus three year of industry experience is preferred. Required Skills: • Proficient technical writer with excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Word and Excel) • Self-starter, highly motivated with good organizational and time management skills • Capable of using or being trained to use analytic tools, such as vision systems and measuring devices. • Ability to interface with others across the organization (engineers, operators, and management) Desired Skills/Experience: • Experience in a regulated environment • Lean manufacturing experience • Experience with the validation, documentation, and manufacturing of medical devices • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Your Team • The Engineering team consists of 40 other engineers with diverse backgrounds and expertise. The Engineering team works in close collaboration with Operations, R&D, Purchasing, and Q&R locally and across the globe. The fast-paced environment places emphasis on a first-time right approach, as such in-depth knowledge of product design, root-cause analysis, and regulatory compliance.
