  • Provide support during the Critical Design Review (CDR) phase for the project.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams to facilitate subsystem development through the CDR process.
  • Ensure that the CDR establishes the build-to baseline and authorizes procurement and prototype hardware fabrication with acceptable risk.
  • Confirm that the as-designed product meets its requirements and is suitable for the end-item needs.
  • Ensure that verification and validation planning is complete, realistic, well-understood, and executable according to the program schedule.
  • Maintain and update the program risk plan, incorporating appropriate mitigations and ensuring an acceptable aggregate risk posture.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering or related roles with manned mission experience highly desired.
  • Proficiency in evaluating build flows, processes, and tolerances for manufacturability.
  • Strong understanding of EBOM alignment and validity.
  • Experience with translating design releases into manufacturing work orders.
  • Familiarity with the Critical Design Review (CDR) process and its significance in aerospace projects.
