Job Overview:
The DAS Specialist I is responsible for processing Dollar Bank rejected checks.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Ability to communicate effectively and provide customer service to department and branch personnel.
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Good math aptitude required.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines.
* Must have a willingness to learn mainframe application software.
Principal Activities and Duties:
* Review, process, and verify in-clearing rejected items.
* Process Teller transactions.
* Process large dollar notifications according to proper regulations.
* Process encoding error adjustments.
* Review and process items on the Duplicate Checks paid reports.
* Manual balancing of department daily work and general ledgers.
* Provide customer service to branch and department personnel.
* Responsible for other duties as assigned.
