Position Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Data Science Intern to join our team of Data Scientists specializing in Generative AI. As a Data Science Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team members and gain hands-on experience in developing cutting-edge AI solutions using OpenAI and Python, among other technologies. This internship role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about AI and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of Generative AI models and algorithms using Python and OpenAI.
2. Collaborate with senior team members to gather requirements, analyze data, and design AI-driven solutions to address business challenges.
3. Experiment with different machine learning techniques and algorithms to improve model performance and accuracy.
4. Develop and maintain codebase for training, testing, and deploying Generative AI models in development and production environments.
5. Assist in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to ensure the quality and reliability of AI solutions.
6. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to contribute ideas and insights.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, and proactively learn new concepts and techniques.
8. Communicate progress, findings, and challenges to the team and seek feedback and guidance from senior team members.

Qualifications

1. Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
2. Strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Generative AI, with some knowledge or coursework in these areas.
3. Basic programming skills in Python, with the ability to write clean and efficient code.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
5. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
7. Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
8. Previous internship or project experience in AI, machine learning, or data science is a plus but not required.
