Washington Convention Center Washington, DC Job ID: 498316 Corporate & Field Support Job Description The Sales Manager, at the Walter E Washington Convention Center will support the catering functions with building operations, culinary department, and catering department along with the sales team charged with revenue growth. Job Responsibilities Ensure and provide exceptional customer service Follows up with all clients through phone calls, letters, and site tours to secure contracts and ensure customer happiness. Inputs data to generate contracts, update client files, and enter information into sales software. Participates in special projects as needed. Communicates and collaborates with other departments to provide quality services for all groups. Assists Sales and Marketing Leadership in managing budget activity and compiling reports for the period end. Attends weekly meetings for aging/billing, business review, and sales meetings. Created Customer invoices and manages payment & billing Follows Aramark policies and procedures and safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years previous experience in Convention Center Sales and Marketing or related field.
