Summary:
A company in the scrap metal industry is looking to hire a Receiving Clerk in Holly Hill, FL. This position is stationed at a kiosk within a warehouse and will be responsible for quoting customers on the scrap material they bring to the yard.
Responsibilities:
* Greet customers
* Classify and grade metals received from customers
* Entering scrap material information and data into a computer
* Communicate with the cashier and scale operators to ensure customers are paid out accurately
* Complete purchasing and shipping documents
* May be required to perform general labor duties as needed in an outdoor scrap yard environment which include but not limited to: Sweeping, shoveling and general clean-up of any area and/or equipment and physical handling of materials, supplies, etc.

* Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, construction, recycling, and/or other related environment
* 2+ years of experience in a cash handling and direct customer service position
* Basic computer knowledge
* Able to work full-time Monday -Friday, with 1/2 day Saturday shift weekly
* Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods of time
