As the Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for running and reading diagnostics, recalibrating and fixing electronic components (ex. blind spot monitors, lane assists, auto brakes, etc.), and diagnosing mechanical failures to pass along to mechanics. Automotive Technician City: Takoma, State: WA Responsibilities of the Automotive Technician: Promote the necessity for diagnostics Coordinate and set up vehicles for diagnostic scans and calibrations Explain technical diagnoses/needed repairs to non-mechanically inclined individuals Utilize various OEM tools and diagnostic equipment Qualifications for the Automotive Technician: 1 year experience in the automotive industry at an entry level position and/or as a lube technician Technical College or vocational school participant/graduate preferred Understanding of automotive industry and lingo Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR Compensation for the Automotive Technician: Direct Hire Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 hour shifts, OT potential depending on store needs Hourly:$24-32/hour (DOE) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA/FSA, Short/long term disability, 401k w/ 4% match, PTO, and more!
