Staff Accountant

We are currently assisting one of our clients in their search for a talented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their team in Birmingham, AL. Title: Staff Accountant Location: Onsite in Birmingham, AL Compensation: Starting at $60-70K | Direct Hire What you'll be doing: • Prepare and analyze financial reports for multiple entities and subsidiaries. • Assist in monthly reporting of costs to support project management. • Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records, including associated journal entries. • Coordinate and manage reporting of charitable contributions. • Support the Assistant Controller with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed. What you'll need to be considered: • 1+ years of accounting experience • Public Accounting experience- preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Advanced proficiency in Excel. • Experience with PowerBi- preferred • Bachelor's degree in Accounting • CPA certification- a huge plus!
