Procurement Associate

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Procurement Associate. Position type: Full-time Contract Duration: 12 months Location: Mobile, AL As a Procurement Associate, you will be: Responsible for entering requisitions on behalf of mill support team for MRO, services, capital equipment and operating supplies. Responsible for work with Mill Stores team to transport parts and equipment to final location in the Mill. Responsible for securing parts staging areas in the mill and stage parts for capital projects. Responsible for working with appropriate procurement personnel to help expedite parts, find alternate parts, submit invoices, and address any service issues. Responsible for ensuring contractors scheduled to come on site are approved in the ISN system and work with them to address any issues prior to arrival date. Responsible for completing contractor safety orientation with contractors prior to starting a new job. Responsible for working with appropriate procurement personnel to proactively vet suppliers by category following procurement processes and procedures to ensure supply continuity at the Mill level. Responsible for Pull daily report of parts pulled from Stores to ensure warranties are executed as available. Responsible for completing capital project Spend Report (PSR) monthly to forecast spending and budget. The ideal candidate will have: Experience in a Procurement/Purchasing role, preferably experience in a Mill location. Experience writing scope of work. Understanding of different types of purchase contracts (T&M, Fixed Cost, GMax, Cost+) and when to use each type. Knowledge of how to read a bill of materials and validate parts received match. Experience working with vendor front offices to resolve issues. SAP expertise is a must. Coupa and Marketplace are desired. Ability to work with a variety of mill functions. Basic understanding of finance principles. Required to have a strong Procurement background- purchase orders/ writing SOWs/ managing vendors and parts/ contracts/ fixed bids/ accruals, etc. ISN systems experience is preferred but can be trained onsite if they don't have experience.
