We are hiring for Maintenance Techs in the Bolingbrook and Saint Charles area. This position is for 2nd shift and at a food manufacturing company . These are Direct Hire Placement rate starts from $30-$35 an hour ( salary depends on Experience) and this position requires Maintenance experience in Manufacturing environment . * Must be able to pass background and Drug Test*

Job Details

Performs repairs and troubleshooting on food processing equipment to include,

but not limited to: Vertical & Horizontal Form, Fill & Seal Machines, conveyors,

metal detectors, X-Ray detectors, checkweighers/scales, labeling systems, bag

sealers, ribbon blenders, sifters and pneumatic pressure conveying systems.

Requirements

• Installs or replaces motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, belts, filters, gears, chains and valves
• Rebuilds valves, pumps and gearboxes.
• Troubleshoots pneumatic, electric and hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairs
• Ability to utilize electrical hand tools and devices to find short circuits and electrical faults.
• Performs repairs to machines involving machine guarding, bolt replacement and breakdowns to mechanical wear.
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, drives chains, etc..
• Handles installations, including hooking up air, water, gas and the alignment and leveling equipment.
• Acts as a lead by training, mentoring and providing guidance to less experienced and hourly Maintenance employees.
• Effectively reads & understands mechanical and electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Communicates effectively and professionally with superiors, peers and representatives from other departments
• Military experience with similar background
