Kitchen & Bath Design Assistant (Entry-Level)

This is an excellent opportunity for an Entry Level assistant who wants to learn about space planning and product selection expertise in the residential market. We are a company operating in Northern Virginia that excels at residential remodeling design and build.

20/20 experience in this position is required. Some responsibilities include assisting and managing clients in choosing all their finishes associated with our projects to include plumbing and lighting fixtures, appliances, cabinets, paint colors, tile and more.

This position is part of a design team that includes other designers and GC.

Duties:

• Assist senior cabinetry designer with cabinetry design and order processing
• Learn the cabinetry process
• Assist with detailed kitchen & bath plans for construction and homeowner approval.
• Work with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and walk-ins to assist in cabinetry design residential kitchen, bath, and other cabinetry storage solutions.
• Assist with business development
• Prepare 20/20 and samples for client presentations

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in residential remodeling, interior design, and/or cabinetry
• Education in interior design with a kitchen and bath concentration a plus, including NKBA, ASID, NCIDQ, and other accreditations preferred
• Experience in 2020 Software a plus
• Great understanding of construct-ability and space planning
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive and creative-minded
• Appliance, tile, countertop, and fixture selection knowledge a plus
• Great attention to detail
• Must have car/own transportation to travel to job sites as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $41,600.00 to $50,000.00 per year (Depending on experience)
