Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and reliable maintenance mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for servicing our machines, conducting field services, and doing some basic machining.

As a maintenance mechanic, you will perform routine and preventive maintenance on various equipment, troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards. You will also use your machining skills to fabricate or modify parts as needed.

To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and the ability to use various tools and machines. You should also have a valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel to different locations, domestic and internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintain our machines - Gummers, Delinters, Hullers, Seed Cleaners, and Lint Cleaners.
  • Conduct field services at various sites, such as installing, repairing, or upgrading equipment.
  • Perform basic machining tasks, such as cutting, drilling, or tapping.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems and determine the best solutions.
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations and wear protective equipment.
  • Document and report your work and any issues encountered.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with hands-on work in different scenarios.
  • Familiarity with various tools and machines, such as wrenches, hammers, grinders, lathes, and mills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations.
