Financial Analyst

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for banking and financial reporting.  This position will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly banking and accounting activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis, including matching various deposit amounts to internal accounting system and investigating any discrepancies.

·         Initiate ACH for recurring and non-recurring transactions

·         Prepare Journal Entries on a monthly basis

·         Ensure an accurate and timely month, quarter, and year end close

·         Provide backup coverage within the Accounting Department

·         Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

·         3 years of Accounting Experience

·         Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel

·         Exceptional interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication

·         Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

·         Regularly stand, walk, sit, talk, or hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.

·         Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Estimated Annual Salary: $50,000 - $55,000
