We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose problems using appropriate testing equipment and techniques.
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, or systems as needed to restore functionality.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and tasks according to established schedules to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols, standards, and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in electrical maintenance and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electrical systems or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance electrician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
