Facility Service Commercial Plumber, MD, DC and Northern VA

General Contractor and Service Company, Hope Builders, located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, is looking to hire a full-time Commercial Service Plumbers (Multiple positions available) . Hope Builders serves national restaurant chains and commercial facilities.

Job Duties:

• Conduct inspections of plumbing hardware and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing systems.
• Install plumbing systems, piping, and related hardware and equipment according to the manufacturer's specifications and compliant with plumbing codes.
• Have a working knowledge and troubleshooting skills on water heaters and pumps.
• Have the ability to operate drain cleaning equipment.
• Purchase materials and supplies as required for timely work completion.
• Accurately document work performed on work orders or field reports.
• Respond to on-call service requests as part of a scheduled rotation during various evenings and weekends.
• Maintain well-stocked inventory on truck, keep truck clean and organized.
• Maintain other equipment and tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Capable of climbing ladders or working on a lift at heights of up to 40 feet (rarely)

Ideal Qualifications:

• High school degree
• Journeyman Plumber certification is a plus; Backflow certified is a plus
• 3-4 years as a plumbing apprentice
• 5-7 years of commercial service experience installing and repairing gas/water plumbing systems
• Experience with Filtration is a plus

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience, skills and certificate.
