Kable Staffing & MBS is in urgent need of a CNC Machinist - Associate in Troy, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately machine parts from print to final inspection table utilizing any or all of a variety of metal cutting machines of conventional and or computer numerical controlled design.
- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, surface grinders and drill presses.
- Set up adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation of tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
- Measure, examine and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as micrometers.
- At all times operate safely using PPE wherever required in a professional manner.
REQUIREMENTS
- Three years on-the-job experience in a contract machining facility preferred.
- Crane certification, lift truck license.
- Welding.
- Ability to read prints, so own set ups and programming is a plus.
- Ability to run small weldments plus plates.
- Must have own tools and be willing to work overtime as needed.
