Shift Lead
Job Summary:
As a Shift Lead you are a high energy, positive member of the team providing members with an unprecedented
experience and encouraging them in achieving their fitness goals. You will make them feel like family in a
clean, judgment-free environment. You will create raving fans by delivering +1% customer service,
continually engaging, and encouraging our members to succeed on their fitness journey. Uphold our core values
to drive team member engagement.
Report To:
General Manager and Assistant General Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedules will vary, shifts could be during any hours of operation including weekends and holidays.
Monitoring team performance and ensuring duties are performed efficiently.
Finding new and current members to join the fitness trainer in fitness classes.
You will help the entire team at the welcome desk checking members in and providing an
uncompromising member experience.
Assist with fun energetic, non-high-pressure tours, as well as member enrollment, and other club
responsibilities.
Be a brand ambassador by leading a judgment free lifestyle.
Be a leader! Be passionate love what you do! Have fun and invite members to do the same!
Coaching team members and training new staff.
When management is unavailable, be the manager on duty.
Supervising employees, assigning duties, and creating a shift schedule.
Managing employee requests and transgressions
Qualifications/Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Passion for helping others.
Commitment to excellent service
Previous management experience is preferred
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
Current CPR Certification preferred
High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Confident problem-solver.
Team player.
Physical Demands.
Continual standing and walking during shifts.
Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 Lbs.
Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shifts.
Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shifts.
