Seasonal Rehabilitation Technician

The Seasonal Rehabilitation Technician provides animal care and maintains the zoo rehabilitation facilities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

• Performs routine feedings and diet preparation
• Performs medical exams
• Accession of animals from the public
• Maintain detailed narratives and charts of animal observation, care and medical treatments.
• Identify and communicate concerns to management in a timely manner
• Maintain supply inventories
• Perform all related housekeeping chores and other duties as required

WHAT YOU'LL NED FOR SUCCESS:

• EDUCATION: Candidates pursuing education in an animal related field are preferred.
• EXPERIENCE: one or more years of animal care experience is preferred
• OTHER: Must be at least 16 to apply
