Job Purpose:
The Rental Mechanic will conduct preparation of rental equipment to go out on rent, such air chain hoists, hand chain hoists, lever hoists, trolleys, beam clamps, Modulift spreader bars, hydraulic rams jacks pumps, air winches and rigging hardware.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and refurbish pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electric powered machinery.
- Maintain and repair material handling machinery
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
- Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs
- Perform other functions are required.
Job Requirements:
- At least two years of mechanic experience, preferably working with industrial equipment or diesel engines.
- At least two years working with hand tools.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
- Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
- Must be willing and able to tolerate extreme weather conditions while working in warehouse/shop.
- Must maintain a safe work space.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
