Job Description:

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Virtru, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions to enhance data privacy and security across various platforms. Leveraging your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, you will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge software applications that meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software applications that adhere to best practices in performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Develop robust back-end services and APIs using server-side technologies such as Go, Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Ensure the integrity and security of data by implementing appropriate encryption and access control mechanisms.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development processes and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries.
• Strong understanding of back-end development principles and experience with server-side technologies like Go, Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
