Job Title: Outside Service Golf Cart/Driving Range Attendant (Homestead Golf Club)

Job Summary: The Outside Service Golf Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for members and guests at the golf course. They are responsible for various duties related to maintaining the golf course grounds, assisting players, and ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the game of golf.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and Assist Players: Welcome golfers upon arrival, assist with unloading clubs, provide carts, and offer assistance as needed.
2. Maintain Golf Carts: Ensure golf carts are clean, charged, and ready for use. Assist players with loading and unloading clubs onto carts.
3. Maintain Practice Facilities: Keep driving range, putting green, and practice areas tidy.
4. Provide Course Information: Offer information on course layout, rules, and any special instructions to players.
5. Assist with Tournament Setup: Assist with setting up for tournaments and events, including arranging signage, tables, chairs, and other equipment as needed.
6. Monitor Pace of Play: Keep an eye on the pace of play, assisting groups to maintain a reasonable pace and ensuring a smooth flow on the course.
7. Handle Guest Inquiries: Respond to guest inquiries courteously and professionally, providing information on tee times, rates, and other services.
8. Ensure Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the outside service area, including clubhouse entrances, cart staging areas, and bag drop locations.
9. Assist with Special Requests: Accommodate special requests from players, such as club cleaning, club rentals, or other amenities.
10. Promote Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring the well-being of players, guests, and staff at all times.
11. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other members of the golf course staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
12. Attend Training Sessions: Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on procedures, policies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of golf etiquette and rules preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy golf bags and equipment
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Stamina to work in outdoor conditions, including hot, cold, and inclement weather
