Job Description

We are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Control Technician to play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

  • Conduct routine and non-routine tests on raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products.
  • Evaluate test data, recommend adjustments, and ensure products meet approved specifications.
  • Record and maintain accurate test results, logs, and reports.
  • Utilize various testing equipment such as scales, calipers, titrators, and spectrometers.
  • Enter data into the computer, prepare statistical reports, and analyze trends.
  • Maintain equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Retain test samples in compliance with company policies.
  • Train new employees on test procedures, equipment usage, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively on quality issues.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment in adherence to Sika standards.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in quality control or a related field.
  • Must have mathematical aptitude. 
  • Must be accurate and precise in operating testing equipment and reporting results. 
  • Must have working knowledge of computer applications including spreadsheets, graphs and charts. 
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills. 
  • Must be able to maintain an excellent attendance record.  
  • Must be flexible to work any shift and overtime as necessary. 
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
