Full-Time Elementary Occupational Therapist for the Remainder of the 23-24 School Year:
AnthroMed Education is dedicated to those in Special Education who know how exciting and rewarding it is to help children grow and achieve. Our organization is currently hiring an Occupational Therapist in Vernon Hills, IL to support K-5th grade students from now until the end of the school year which is June 4th, 2024.
Dates: Now until June 4th, 2024
Hours: M, T, TH, F 8:00 AM- 3:35 PM and W 8:05 AM -3:50 PM
Pay: Hourly rate of $43.21-$60.79/hr (average range depending on experience)

Overview:
- Support Students by providing providing both direct and indirect therapy at an elementary school.
- The caseload is a WORKLOAD model.
- There is another a full-time OT at the elementary school available for support.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure team understanding of student occupational performance strengths and needs.
- Evaluate the student's ability and formulate the student's occupational profile, providing written reports that reflect strengths and barriers to student participation in the educational environment. Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide targeted, evidence-based therapeutic intervention to facilitate student participation and occupational performance within the school environment.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy License
- Experience providing Occupational Therapy in a school setting preferred
