Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Flexible Schedule

We are currently seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team in a beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility located in Locust Hill, VA. As a COTA, you will play a crucial role in helping our residents regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to provide personalized care and rehabilitation services to our residents.

What You'll Do

  • To provide occupational therapy services to patients in a designated facility under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • To promote and assist patients in a progression of care to achieve optimum patient involvement and independent maintenance of their needs in the least restrictive environment.
  • To ensure quality and safe delivery of occupational therapy services.
  • To ensure that occupational therapy services reflecting AdvantageCare Rehabilitation mission and standards are provided in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

About You

  • You are a graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program accredited by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • You are licensed or eligible for licensure in the state in which practicing
