Job Description
Hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
F4L is looking for an experienced male DSP to work with the most friendly, easygoing client you will ever meet. Our client loves to take part in all sorts of sports and community activities. He loves to talk sports and listen to country music. A pure joy to be around! Your job will be to pick him up three days a week and spend 3-4 hours together (9-12 hours per week). DSP experience preferred. CNA's welcome. Client prefers male staff. Thank you for understanding.
SCHEDULE:
- Weekdays from 3 - 7 PM
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Picking up client from his home in Farmington Tuesday through Thursday at 3:00 PM
- Engage client in fun and fulfilling activities in the community (ie. basketball at the rec center, visits to the library, special olympics activities, movie going, perusing the aisles of the grocery store, bowling, etc.)
- Get to know client
- Talk about sports with client
- Documenting shift
- Transporting client to and from activities
- Following all health and safety protocols required by Friends4Life and the state of Utah
- Supporting and upholding client's legal rights by observing the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Becoming properly trained and certified as the job requires (CPR Certification required)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
