Working hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.
This position involves learning to do the following; set up machines, producing a quality product at the lowest cost possible, performing TPM, leading and coaching people, planning, sequencing of profile line ups, ordering heads, and communication with others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learning to set up of machines.
- Make certain that yourself as well as all team members are working in a safe manner.
- Responsible for Quality of product being produced.
- Learning to perform TPM on machines as well as any other equipment associated with the line.
- Learning the planning and preparation of profile lineup to yield the most efficient results.
- Learning to assist other operators where and when needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Excellent mechanical abilities.
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds.
