Baker/Donut Decorator

NH Doughnut Co., a family-owned business specializing in fresh, creative, and fun doughnuts, is seeking baker enthusiasts to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Prepare doughnut dough according to our recipes and quality standards.
• Fry doughnuts, ensuring they are cooked to a consistent quality.
• Decorate and glaze doughnuts creatively, creating visually appealing products.
• Manage inventory and maintain stock levels of ingredients.
• Ensure that all doughnuts are produced to a high standard of quality and consistency.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Work independently to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve daily production goals.

Hours:

• Tuesday 2pm-6pm
• Wednesday 2pm-6pm
• Thursday 2pm-6pm
• Friday 2pm-10pm
• Saturday 2pm-10pm

Hours may vary, depending on workload. The ideal candidate could expect 25-30 hours a week.
Qualifications:

• Experience as a baker or in a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work longer shifts on Friday and Saturday nights.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality products.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:
This position requires longer shifts on Friday and Saturday nights. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve standing for long periods and working with hot equipment. The bakery is subject to temperature changes and may be noisy at times. The candidate must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently.
Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Responsible for end-of-shift clean-up duties.
• Wage based on experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
