Manufacturing Manager - Molding

Essential Responsibilities.

Manage and coordinate the activities of the Molding department as applicable.

Coordinate the activities of Department Supervisors, Lead Technicians and support personnel to meet manufacturing objectives..

Provide leadership to maintain production standards, scrap rates and cycle times.  .

Maintain accountability for system processes and policies and take corrective action when necessary..

Responsible for maintaining departmental set-up/start-up and production processes .

Conduct regular meetings with peers, staff and/or employees regarding issues such as safety, quality, housekeeping, production and other information as required.

Interact with other manufacturing departments, Product Quality, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering and Account Management to insure customer service and satisfaction.

Identify training needs and coordinate training and development objectives for manufacturing personnel..

Provide direction and support to all manufacturing personnel.

Maintain QMS and EHS compliance through the use and understanding of Mack policies and procedures..

Follow all safety rules and regulations. 

Hold all employees accountable for safety.

Maintain Mack’s standard of housekeeping in all areas..

Perform all other duties necessitated by changing business conditions

Job Qualifications/License/Education/Required Experience.2 year college degree or equivalent experience in departmental competency.

Minimum of 5+ years of supervisory type experience in manufacturing environment..

Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and customers..

Strong leadership, organizational and management skills..

Computer skills including MS Word and Excel

Unusual Working Conditions.

Exposure to in-plant temperatures between 50F and 110F and associated manufacturing environment

Unusual Physical Requirements.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as required [when necessary].

Ability to bend, walk and stand for a prolonged period of time.
