2nd Shift Assistant Team Leader

Hansen Foods has been a Green Bay institution since 1912, when the first home delivery of milk began. Today, Hansen's is a $15 million annual sales entity that focuses on two core businesses—Pep's Pizza products sold at the retail level and private label frozen pizza manufacturing for many customers throughout the United States.

Hansen Foods is searching for a Assistant Team Leader – on the 2nd Shift to help support its 2nd Shift in our pizza manufacturing operation. We provide competitive benefits, including health, dental & vision insurance, 401(k) profit-sharing plan, etc.

Summary: They will be responsible for supporting the 2nd Shift Team Leader and other Team leaders and general production and sanitation activities.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday. 10 hours a day.

Primary Duties:

1. Coach all team members on the Company's Basic Expectations of Team Members".

2. Monitor breaks, changeovers, and downtime for opportunities to improve.

3. Support the 2nd shift Team leader to maintain a high-performing team.

• Work pizza line & Boxing area
• Monitor Machines when needed.
• Monitor quality & safety
• Monitor Redzone
• Monitor consumption
• Run 2nd Shift when 2nd Shift Team Leader is on vacation

4. Holding team members accountable.

Reports to: 2nd Shift Team leader

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability.

1. Experience in gaining efficiencies in operations.

2. Must be Bilingual in Spanish and English.

3. Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, or similar quality control or food safety programs. Familiarity with the food or pizza industry is a plus.

4. Ability to learn all applicable USDA, FDA, and OSHA regulations applicable to Hansen's operation.

5. Maintain a safe work environment and oversee quality from start to finish to ensure we meet our customer expectations.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

7. Detail oriented.

8. Computer skills, Excel, and outlook.

9. Good, follow up with team members. Attentive and timely in responses.

10. Collaborative and cooperative work style with a "can do" attitude.

11. Excellent problem solver who sees solutions instead of obstacles.

Physical Requirements:

1. Able to walk regularly around the plant, including climbing steps and also occasionally climbing on a ladder

2. Able to lift to 50 pounds unassisted

3. Able to bend, squat, sit and stand
