Overview

The Salesforce Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation within Salesforce platforms. This role involves analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into scalable Salesforce solutions. The Salesforce Business Analyst collaborates closely with stakeholders from various departments to optimize Salesforce functionalities and drive business growth through effective use of the platform.


Key Responsibilities

 

•Work with Product Owner/Architects to understand and clarify customer needs and review
business requirements (Product Master Backlog Review).
• Conducts business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling;
process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and nonfunctional requirements definitions for assigned projects.
• Lead and manage a team of business analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and
support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Conducts business analysis to assess client's business problems/opportunities and
documents the business requirements (Functional requirements, Non-Functional
Requirements) in such a way that technology solutions can be determined.
• Monitors progress, resolves problems, and reports regularly to IT management and clients'
decision makers.

 

Requirements:


• Experience in the use of tools to document conceptual requirements and scope and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; verbal and written
communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• Has experience conducting and documenting JAD sessions.
• Awareness of emerging IT trends and technologies.
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
• Previous experience with projects using DevOps methodology would be an asset.
• Strong communication skills to lead discussions with the business and ability to articulate
recommendations as well as lead workshops.
• Previous experience in leadership roles or managing small teams will be an asset.
• Assists with the development of strategies and preparation of business cases, for business
IT initiatives will be an asset.
• Understanding of Microsoft tools such as Azure (Azure Board) is an asset.
• Understanding of Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) is a must.
• Ability to write user stories using GHERKIN.
• Understanding of Agile (SCRUM – Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning) is a must.• Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, PBA) an asset.
